No Movetide accounts. No cloud workout diary. Your training records stay on your device. Usage analytics, ads, purchases and this website use network services; those are explained below.
Who we are
Movetide is provided by ZIX DEV Inc.. For privacy questions, contact contact@zixdev.com. The app is preparing for launch; this page describes its local-data design and planned production services.
Your local training data
Workouts, saved routines, plans, exercise logs, history, measurements, notes and training preferences are stored on your device. Movetide does not upload these records to a training-data server, advertising provider or usage analytics service. It has no Movetide sign-up, cloud sync, health-data sharing, routine sharing or data import/export.
App-controlled training storage is excluded from platform backup and transfer mechanisms supported by the app. This does not promise control over every device manufacturer, old backup, rooted device or screenshot you create yourself.
Deleting the app, clearing its data, losing the device or replacing it can permanently remove your training records. There is no Movetide cloud recovery. Restoring a store purchase restores an eligible Pro entitlement, not training data.
Automatic anonymous usage analytics
Production Movetide uses Plausible at plausible.zixdev.com with the property mobile.movetide.app to understand aggregate feature usage. Analytics is automatic. The app sends fixed screen and action names with coarse platform/app-version information. It does not attach workout values, body measurements, notes, custom exercise names, purchase tokens, local record IDs or persistent user, device or installation identifiers.
Offline app events are dropped rather than stored for later upload. Analytics failure does not block a workout. Network services necessarily receive transport information such as an IP address. The anonymous event design does not mean that no technical connection metadata reaches the analytics host or its reverse proxy.
Website analytics and hosting
The production movetide.app website loads Plausible to measure page visits and a small set of download-link actions. Click events include a fixed placement and, for store links, the store name. These are link-click counts, not proof of an install or purchase. The website does not ask for training information, create a Movetide account or use a newsletter form.
Hosting and analytics infrastructure receive technical request information needed to deliver their services. Please do not put personal information into campaign links or URL parameters.
Advertising
The free app is planned to include Google AdMob advertising in eligible browsing areas. No advertising is placed during an active workout or its save. When ads are enabled, Google may process technical information under its own policies and applicable consent choices. Pro removes advertising. The final production ad and consent configuration is still being prepared.
Purchases
Optional Pro subscriptions use Apple’s App Store or Google Play and your existing store account. The store handles billing; Movetide does not receive your payment-card details. The app checks store purchase information to determine whether Pro is active. Buying or restoring Pro does not send us your workout history.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond. Please avoid sending health details, workout notes, payment details or other sensitive information. Support communication is separate from anonymous usage analytics.
Your choices and questions
You can edit your local training records and preferences in the app. System settings control notifications and app storage. Clearing app data is destructive and cannot be reversed through Movetide. Store settings control subscriptions; available ad privacy controls will appear in the app when required by the advertising configuration.
For questions about information you sent to support, or other privacy requests, email contact@zixdev.com. We cannot identify or recover local training records from a server-side Movetide account because one does not exist.
